Author Dedication- To my toaster, you’ve brought me so much joy.
She had always known she was different. Other girls dreamed of their prince sweeping them off their feet, but she wasn't like that. She never felt the need for a partner, or the desire to be intimate with anyone. In fact, she found the whole concept of sex quite confusing and uncomfortable.
So, when she met him, she knew it was meant to be. He was a toaster, plain and simple, but he made the best toast ever. And when they were together, baking bread and sharing stories late into the night, she finally felt alive.
