It’s with a sad heart that we must take a break once more from publishing the E-JSD’s short stories.
This time we are taking a break from November 22, 2023 through January 15, 2024.
Yes, this is a long period to be offline, but we have our reasons.
To begin with, let us mention we are a micro-publisher. Our staffing is nowhere near what a small business would be. According to Investopedia, a small business is 5 to 99 employees, whereas a micro-business has 1 to 4 employees.
Second, we at the Joseph Street Digest have our first convention as a vendor in early January 2024- Marscon 2024 in Virginia Beach, VA that we have to prepare for.
This is besides prepping the first full novel under the Mapleton Books imprint slated for mid-April 2024. A collection of works by Seth Underwood that are set in the Rosella Tolfree world, and involve a character that will become intertwined with her life. The book is a sort of prequel or foreshadowing of things to come and continues to set the tone from the JSD Volume 5.
